Rafidah Helmi, gadis asal Sukabumi

Rafidah Helmi, gadis asal Sukabumi berusia 17 tahun 8 bulan ini terlihat tersenyum di antara para wisudawan Unissula Semarang yang menunggu dipanggil namanya. Tiba gilirannya, Rafidah disebut namanya dan ia dinyatakan resmi lulus sebagai sarjana kedokteran termuda se-Indonesia.

Mendengar usia Rafidah disebut pembawa acara, tepuk tangan pun riuh di aula Fakultas Kedokteran Unissula. Gadis kelahiran 31 Juli 1998 ini memang memiliki otak cerdas sejak lahir. Putri ketiga dari pasangan AKBP (purnawirawan) Helmi dan Rofiah tersebut sudah terbiasa dengan kedisiplinan yang mengalir dari ayahnya.

Perjalanan akademiknya pun bisa dibilang unik dan ngebut, karena ketika dulu ia diterima di TK Kemala Bhayangkari Secapa Polri Sukabumi, ia hanya menjalani kelas nol kecil selama sehari dan langsung naik kelas nol besar.

Karena kecerdasannya, pada usia 4 tahun 10 bulan, Rafidah sudah masuk ke SD Sriwidari Sukabumi. Bangku SD dilaluinya selama 5 tahun karena masuk program akselerasi. Begitu juga ketika duduk di bangku SMP dan SMA, ia menyelesaikannya masing-masing hanya 2 tahun. Ia kemudian mendaftar ke Unissula dan menjadi mahasiswa pada usia 14 tahun.

“Dari SD, SMP, dan SMA akselerasi. SD 5 tahun, SMP dan SMA 2 tahun,” kata Rafidah usai wisuda ke-71 Unissula, Senin (18/4/2016).

Awalnya ia ingin menjadi guru, namun ia berketetapan hati ingin menjadi dokter karena kakak pertamanya, Riana Helmi lulus dari kedokteran UGM bahkan lulus sebagai sarjana kedokteran termuda yaitu 17 tahun 11 bulan dan tercatat di rekor Muri. Meski lulus lebih cepat, namun Rafidah belum tercatat Muri.

“Bukan rekornya yang penting, tapi ilmunya,” tandasnya.

Lalu apa rahasianya ia dan kakaknya bisa sampai menoreh prestasi seperti itu? Rafidah mengaku tidak ada yang istimewa, ia juga sering bermain dan belajar tanpa tekanan. Yang terpenting menurutnya menetapkan tujuan dari awal.

“Selagi muda belajar, berusaha raih cita-cita dan menetapkan tujuan dari awal. Saya di rumah ya biasa saja, sering main juga,” tanda gadis yang akan fokus Koas setelah ini.
